Event Check Lists

Sign and return Al Zorah Golf Club’s Group Contract.

​A valid Credit Card or 50% down payment is mandatory or Tee Times will not be secured.

6 to 8 Weeks Prior to Your Event

1. Assess your merchandise needs.

  • Gifts (shirts, caps, golf balls etc.)
    • Event prizes (any merchandise which may require custom logos take approx. 4-6 weeks)

2. Staff and volunteer needs.

3. Order banners and sponsorship signs.

4. Order Hole in One insurance.

5. Update your player count with the Tournament Coordinator.

4 Weeks Prior to Your Event

1. Finalize Food & Beverage choices with the F&B Coordinator.

  • Decide where you would like to hold your lunch, dinner or awards presentation.

2. Provide maximum final player count and any rental request to the Tournament Coordinator.

3 Weeks Prior to Your Event

1. Confirm desired format/scoring for tournament.

2. Confirm Hole in One insurance and prize information.

3. Mention any gift vouchers required.

4. Send sponsor signs to the course and discuss placement of signage.

5. Make any on course event requests (Nearest to Pin, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, etc.)

3 Days Prior to Your Event

1. Send final player draw to Tournament Coordinator by email.

  • An Excel spreadsheet is the preferred method for player draw.
    • Be sure to include any rental requests

2. Communicate any changes or questions that you have to the Tournament Coordinator.

Day Before Your Event

1. Deliver remaining signs, banners, prizes that need to be staged for your event.

2. Communicate any changes or questions that you have to the Tournament Coordinator.

Day of Your Event

1. Plan accordingly for start of registration of your event.

  • General rule of thumb is to allow 30 minutes prior to the event starting times for every 40 players.

- 1 hour for 80 players.

- 2 hours for 120 or more.

2. Communicate any changes or questions that you have to the Tournament Coordinator ASAP.

During Your Event

1. Relax and have fun!

After Your Event

1. Pick up any leftover prizes.

2. Collect any banners or signage that you would like to keep.

  • After 48 hours, Al Zorah Golf Club will dispose of anything left behind.

3. Reserve your date for next event at the magnificent Al Zorah Golf Club.
